"Since forever, my dream was to build sounds larger than life: that move the mountains and bleed the skies..."
A transformative encounter with the sound of Metallica in his early age ignites Petar Alargic's musical journey, propelling him to seize the guitar and dive into relentless practice. Throughout the first decade of a new millennium, he immerses himself in the vibrant realms of the extreme metal and rock scene (Draconic(BG), Azil5(NS)), gaining invaluable live performing experience, touring extensively, and delving into the electrifying atmosphere of songwriting and inaugural studio and live album recording sessions, including broadcasts on national radio and TV.
These formative years lay the foundation for his musical credibility, setting the stage for his groundbreaking solo career under his own name, which commences in 2010, marking a pivotal turning point in his artistic evolution.
It is a year of significant transformation for Petar as he embarks on his solo journey, embracing roles as both composer and producer. Crafting an expansive catalog spanning electronic, ambient, classical, and metal, he garners attention from several US labels, including Magnatune and Artistech Media, leading to a multitude of upcoming releases in the years to follow.
While retaining publishing deals, Petar gradually transitions to a fully independent self-release approach, granting him unparalleled creative control over his artistic vision. This shift empowers him to explore new sonic territories and redefine the essence of his music.
In 2015, Petar's compositions gain international acclaim with their feature in the US high art documentary "Troublemakers: Story of Land Art," catapulting his work to global recognition and prestigious film festivals. This marks a significant milestone, cementing his reputation as a versatile and innovative musician.
Over the years, Petar contributes to a multitude of collaborations across various industries, including film, fashion, and photography, allowing his music to traverse the world.
By continuing to expand his sonic palette, evolution from a superenthusiastic riff lover to a music maker with a catalog so extensive that he starts functioning as a mini label, another milestone is achieved in 2023, resulting in launch of over 10 genre-specific projects, further solidifying his unobtrusive creative output.
